Run it with a full 29er wheelset or as a mullet with 27.5 in the rear, tweak your headtube angle from 63.3° to 64.4°, and adjust chainstay length to suit your riding.
The 78° effective seat tube angle keeps you in a powerful, efficient pedaling position, and short cranks reduce pedal strikes so you can maintain momentum.

How long will it take to arrive?
Estimated lead times are listed under each model's size in the bike builder. Times may vary a little based on current conditions, frame size, color, and availability.
What is the battery capacity?
Timp Peak can fit either the PowerTube 600 Wh or PowerTube 800 Wh battery in the frame. The PowerMore 250 Wh range extender can also be added to every frame size for up to a 1050 Wh on-board capacity.
How long does it take to charge the battery?
A full charge will take 6-7 hours using the provided 4 Amp Bosch charger.
What charge level and temperature should I store the battery at?
For storage time less than 30 days, the battery can be stored at 100% charge at a temperature between 14F-113F. For storage times longer than 30 days, the battery should be discharged to ~70% prior to storage and kept at temperature between 14F-95F. Every 6-months, the battery should be fully charged (and then discharged to ~70% if stored for longer than 30-days again).
Will the battery be charged when the bike arrives?
The batteries on all our e-bikes are shipped in a ‘deep sleep’ mode and will have about 20%-30% charge when they arrive. Before your first ride, the battery should be fully charged. The initial charge from ‘deep sleep’ to full could take up to 24 hours as the battery’s individual cell charges are equalized. After that, it should only take 6-7 hours for a full charge.
Are the electronic components waterproof?
All the electronic components (drive unit, battery, displays, switches, etc.) are water resistant. Washing the bike with a low-pressure hose, riding through small puddles, and riding in the rain are all activities the electronics are prepared for. That said, submerging the system under water or using high pressure water to wash the bike could allow water ingress and damage the electronic components and should be avoided.
What is the Timp Peak frame made of?
The Timp Peak features a CleanCast™ carbon fiber frame. The front triangle, seat stay, chain stay, and rocker link are all made of carbon. What does that mean? Simply put, a carbon frame provides the perfect blend of stiffness, light weight, and lively riding characteristics.
Can the Timp Peak Carry a Water Bottle?
Yes. Every frame size can carry at least a 21oz bottle inside the front triangle.
What is the tire clearance on the frame?
Rear tire: 29 x 2.6 in. Front tire: suspension manufacturer dependent (typically 29 x 2.6 in).
How far can I ride?
Ah, the age-old question. The range of Timp Peak depends on several factors including: assist mode use, rider weight, terrain, ambient temperature, and rider input. In our testing, we regularly achieved 6000+ vertical climbing feet and 20-30 miles using a mix of all assist modes when using the PowerTube 800 Wh battery. With the combination of the PowerTube 800 Wh battery and PowerMore 250 Wh range extender, a 6’4’’ 240lbs rider in our test group was able to achieve 8100 vertical climbing feet in the Turbo mode.
How do I charge my e-bike battery safely?
To charge an e-bike battery safely, set up your charging station in a cool, dry area between 50°F and 77°F (10°C to 25°C), well away from direct sunlight, heating vents, and moisture. Always use the manufacturer-approved charger specifically designed for your battery to prevent electrical damage or fire hazards. Keep the immediate area clear of flammable materials like blankets, paper, or rugs, and place both the battery and charger on a hard, flat, non-combustible surface such as concrete, tile, or metal to prevent heat buildup. Ensure the room has proper ventilation to allow heat to dissipate, and keep a working smoke detector nearby while avoiding charging near primary escape routes.
How long will the battery last?
Like all lithium-ion batteries, the Timp Peak battery has a usable, non-infinite lifetime. The battery is rated to maintain at least 60% of its capacity after 500 full charge-discharge cycles. For the average rider riding 2-3 days a week, we would expect to see about a 5% capacity loss every year.
Can I charge the battery on and off the bike?
Yes, the integrated charging port on the left side of the bike near the head tube allows for the battery to be charged on the bike. If you would like to charge the battery off the bike, you can easily remove the battery from the bike and charge it. The battery must be charged at temperatures between 32F-100F. Charging outside of this window is potentially hazardous and may cause the battery to malfunction.
What adjustments can be made to the Bosch drive unit?
Riders can choose up to four active assist modes. They can also tune the support characteristics of the drive unit in the Bosch Flow App.
How fast will the Timp Peak go? Does it have a throttle? What class of e-bike is the Timp Peak?
The Timp Peak is a Class 1 e-bike. This means it will provide assistance up to 20mph in the USA and 25kph in the EU. It does not have a throttle and only provides assistance when the rider is pedaling. However, just like a non-assisted bike, your own leg power or gravity will allow the bike to move faster than the assisted limit.
What geometry adjustments does the Timp Peak have?
Four-way adjustable GA Link in the suspension linkage provide geometry adjustments to hone the Timp Peak’s handling for various types of trails. Riders can adjust chainstay length, bottom bracket height, and headtube angle via these GA Link. Headtube angles range from 63.6°- 64.4° (stock setting is 64°) and chainstay lengths can be adjusted between 437mm - 443mm.
Which shocks are compatible with the Timp Peak?
Both air and coil shocks work well on the Timp Peak. The Timp Peak uses a 230 x 65mm shock with M8 x 30mm hardware on both eyelets. Shocks from RockShox, Fox, Marzocchi, DVO, and EXT have been test fit. If you have questions about a shock fitment, please contact us.

How will it arrive?

Each frame comes with a Lifetime Warranty. Ari branded frames come with a transferable warranty as well.
How does transferable warranty on Ari bikes work?
Ari branded frames come with a transferable frame warranty available to the second owner. The second owner can receive a one-year frame warranty from the date they purchase the bike from the original owner. Warranty only transfers once. All Ari bikes must have the transfer documented from the original owner to the new owner here in order to qualify for a transferable warranty.
