Introducing Superior Peak

Adjustability is the Name of the Game

5 Different Geometry Settings and 4 Frame Tune Adjustments

Geometry Adjustments

Chainstay Adjustment: Flip chip in the chainstay offers up to 6mm of length adjustment. Whether you want a short and snappy rear end for jumps and tricks, or more stability at high speeds, Superior Peak has you covered.

Bottom Bracket Height Adjustability & Mullet Compatible: Compatible with both 29 inch and mullet wheelsets with a convenient flip chip in the seat stay/rocker link. 29 and Mullet options are available at checkout.

Frame Tune Adjustments:

Suspension Kinematics: Progressive and linear shock mounts are included with the frame providing enhanced kinematic control over your ride. Run progressive for more bottom out support or linear for chunk eating traction. It is also another fine tune point for riders using coil shocks and air shocks.

Rear-Triangle Stiffness: A removable brace in the seat stay lets you adjust rear end stiffness based on conditions. Remove it for more traction and control in muddy, wet conditions, or add the brace to stiffen the rear end for park laps, freeride sessions, and rough tracks.

Superior Adjustability for Personalized Performance

Superior Peak offers versatile performance, with different geometry combinations and kinematic options that allow the bike to be tuned for either stability or playfulness. Superior Peak is ready for anything from chunky lines to massive air.

Made to Huck

Engineered for the most extreme conditions, Superior Peak features a robust aluminum alloy frame designed to endure the rigors of gravity riding. Minimal pedal kickback ensures the bike stays responsive and stable across any terrain.

Designed for the Best

Superior Peak wins. Wins at Proving Grounds, overall series win at the Big Mountain Downhill, Dark Fest Best Trick, and will be ridden by Kyle Strait at the 2024 Red Bull Rampage in Ari’s home state of Utah. This rider feedback, development, and winning results prove the design and capability of the Superior Peak.

Thoughtfully Engineered, Down to the Last Bolt

Featuring a Boost 148 rear dropout, 200mm post mount, and compatibility with air or coil shocks, the Superior Peak is built to handle the rigors of all-day bike park laps or high speed race runs. Its ISCG-05 tabs and rubber protectors help fend off rocks and keep chain noise quiet.

Industry Reviews

Superior Peak’s Tetra Link suspension linkage did a great job of sucking up big or repeated hits. What really pleased me was how supportive the mid-stroke was; the bike felt lively and never spongy while pumping through rollers or tight berms. It also showed an eagerness to spring forward and maintain speed.

It's a bike that morphs well to terrain or how you want to ride. It leans more towards being a poppy, lively, machine-built bike park trail destroyer, but holds its own in rough tech.

I really enjoy[ed] the playful feel of the Superior Peak in the more natural and tighter stuff. It rode more like an extremely confident “super enduro” bike than a sluggish DH race machine.

Common Questions*

Who is this bike for?

Superior Peak is versatile to suit riders who enjoy any or all of the following: DH Racing, Bike Parks/Shuttling, and Freeriding.

Do you offer financing?

Yes, at checkout there are several options available for financing.

How does the bike handle?

Superior Peak offers versatile performance, with different geometry combinations and kinematic options that allow the bike to be tuned for either stability or playfulness. Superior Peak is ready for anything from chunky lines to massive air.

How long will it take to arrive?

Estimated lead times are listed under each model's size in the bike builder. Times may vary a little based on current conditions, frame size, color, and availability.

How do the Superior Peak’s geometry adjustments work?

There are flip chips integrated into the frame at the chainstay/seatstay pivot and seatstay/link pivot. With these chips and dual 29in wheels, there are four geometry positions available. One of the four geometry positions available (Poppy-Flow) is designed to work well with a 27.5in rear wheel giving a fifth possible geometry configuration. You can see these geometry adjustments in real time on our GeoKinematic Configurer.

What is the rear triangle stiffness adjustment feature on the Superior Peak?

A bolt-in brace between the seat stays offers rear triangle stiffness tuning. Superior Peak ships with the brace installed for increased stiffness for aggressive riding, but it can be fully removed to increase rear triangle flex for utmost traction in loose conditions.

What rear shocks can be used on the Superior Peak?

The Superior Peak was designed to run both air and coil shocks. The dimensions of the shock are 250mm eye-to-eye and 75mm stroke. We recommend starting with the progressive front triangle shock mount when using a coil shock or large volume air shock (ex. Vivid, X2, etc.) and the linear mount with a smaller volume air shock (ex. Super Deluxe, TriAir2, etc.)

What is the maximum tire clearance?

Rear Tire: 29in x 2.5in or 27.5 x 2.6in. Front Tire: Per fork manufacture. (Typically 29in x 2.6in.)

What derailleur hanger is used on the Superior Peak?

The SRAM Full Mount Universal Derailleur Hanger (UDH) is used on the Superior Peak.

What is the progression adjustment feature on the Superior Peak?

Each Superior Peak bike and frameset include two front triangle shock mounts (linear and progressive) that bolt to the front triangle. Switching out the front triangle shock mount will alter the leverage ratio progression of the suspension. Run linear for ultimate bump-eating traction or progressive for bottom out support on big hits. The bike ships stock with the progressive mount installed (the shorter of the two). The linear mount is included in the accessory box with the bike. You can see these kinematic adjustments in real time on our GeoKinematic Configurer.

What is the purpose of the two position direct mount stem, and how does it work?

The Ari direct mount DH stem has two mounting positions available providing either a 45mm or 50mm length to tune your bike’s steering characteristics and front wheel weighting. Simply remove the 4 mounting bolts, slide the stem forward or backward and reinstall the bolts to adjust the length.

What type of chain guide and bash guard can be used?

The Superior Peak comes stock with the MRP SXG chain guide/bash guard combo. It is adjustable for 32-36T chainrings. The frame has ISCG-05 tabs, so other options can be mounted as well.

Can the Superior Peak be setup tubeless? What are the advantages of a tubeless setup?

The option to add a tubeless set-up is available at checkout. The advantages of a tubeless set-up are increased flat protection from punctures and the ability to run a lower tire pressure for increased control and traction on the trail.

What is the bottom bracket spec used on the Superior Peak?

83mm BSA English Thread.

How can I know I am getting the right size?

All Ari bikes go through our 23-Point Custom Setup™ making sure the bike is fit and tuned specifically to you and your body measurements.

What about service?

You can work directly with us, one of our recommended shops, or work through your local shop.

What is the guarantee?

It comes with a 30 Day Love it or Return it Guarantee.

How will it arrive?

All Ari bikes go through our 23-Point Custom Setup making sure the bike is fit and tuned specifically to you. They are test-ridden before delivery. If your bike is shipped to you, it’s still tuned and ready to ride and requires just a few minutes of assembly.

What is the warranty?

Each frame comes with a Lifetime Warranty. Ari branded frames come with a transferable warranty as well.

How does transferable warranty on Ari bikes work?

Ari branded frames come with a transferable frame warranty available to the second owner. The second owner can receive a one-year frame warranty from the date they purchase the bike from the original owner. Warranty only transfers once. All Ari bikes must have the transfer documented from the original owner to the new owner at www.aribikes.com/pages/register in order to qualify for a transferable warranty.
