Press reviews

Serious performance. Straightforward value.

Impressive quality for its price tag and solid on-trail performance to go with it.

An extensive fit process before sending the bike so that it’s ready to rock.

A lot of value without resorting to common cost-cutting measures.

Delano peak. Fenomenal Bike ❤️‍🔥

When I demo the Delano few years ago I was very impressed how playful and comfortable are the bike and since then I was always think to get one. Fortunately I get one now with the new Color. I love it and is going to be my favorite bike. Thanks Ari for build a great bike Models

Forgot how good this bike is..

I bought a size large Delano back when I was first getting into MTB, and wanted a good all-arounder bike that I could do anything with.. Eventually, being challenged by my riding friends, who were all faster than me, my riding drifted into more all-out XC/downcountry riding and I put the Delano aside for an EPIC EVO. The EPIC is definitely fast and maneuverable, and lighter than my Delano, but can get a little unsettled on the rougher stuff. My Delano is one of the earlier models back when the company was still Fezarri, and as such came spec'd for a 140mm fork up front. I was running it with a FOX 36 at 160mm and it just never really felt as good as I remember it being. Replaced the FOX 36 with a marzocchi Z2 140mm, re-set air and rebound to Fox recommendations, and just had the best ride of my life on the Delano. When this thing is dialled-in, it is incredibly comfortable, climbs very well, soaks up trail chatter and rough stuff with ease, and pedals almost like the EVO with the suspension locked-out. It can go from being efficient like a hardtail, to a very capable, and comfortable trail machine just by using your suspension lock-outs. This bike is excellent value for your money, just like it was for me when I bought mine. Today reminded me how much I like this bike, and sometimes, I even like it better than my EPIC EVO, which is very, very high praise, indeed !!

The Delano

I've been on the Delano for 2 seasons and have no complaints. purchased the Sram Comp. Rad price for what you get. I ride a small and its quite agile for a 29er set up. Climbs all day and descends confidently. I've put over 2,000 miles on it of enduro-all mountain Washington/BC riding and nothing has broken or failed or leaked. Pivots move without a sound. still sounds new going down the hill. I would recommend to anyone looking for a bike in this range and I would buy again without a doubt.

Best bike you will ever own. Perfect geometry that lets you fly up and down the hills. All around great bike for smooth trail/XC rides to gnarly and techy DH rides.

Common questions

Still deciding? Our team rides these bikes and can help you find the right setup.

Who is this bike for?

This individual seeks a versatile bike that can handle steep climbs, technical descents, and everything in between. They are likely passionate about exploring the outdoors and pushing their limits on various trails, from rocky paths to forested singletracks.

Do you offer financing?

Yes, at checkout there are several options available for financing.

How long will it take to arrive?

Estimated lead times are listed under each model's size in the bike builder. Times may vary a little based on current conditions, frame size, color, and availability.

How many water bottles fit inside the frame?

Medium, Large and XL frames can accommodate two 21 oz. water bottles inside the front triangle; one on the down tube, and one on the seat tube. Small frames allow for the versatility of placing a water bottle on the down tube or seat tube mounts and using the other mount for tools. All sizes can have an optional third bottle mounted on the underside of the downtube. Longer bolts need to be used to accommodate the bottle cage with the down tube guard installed.

What length dropper post will fit inside the frame?

Every frame size has a 300mm insertion depth. This will fit almost every size dropper post. The exact dropper post length installed will depend on several factors including: rider inseam, crank arm length, stack height of the dropper post seat clamp, stack height of the bushing collar of the dropper post, and seat height. As part of our 23-Point Custom Setup™, we ensure that each rider’s bike comes custom set up with the longest possible dropper post that will fit you so that you have the most comfortable and confident ride in every situation.

What is the bottom bracket frame spec?

73mm English thread. Our philosophy is simple: if the bike is intended to be ridden in the dirt, it gets a threaded bottom bracket. Threaded bottom brackets are easier to service.

What type of derailleur hanger does the Delano use?

The Delano features the all-new SRAM Universal Derailleur Hanger (UDH). We chose this derailleur hanger for simplicity, reliability, and performance. In the event of an impact to your rear derailleur, the derailleur hanger will bend away and help protect the frame and derailleur from irreparable damage. The UDH can be purchased directly from aribikes.com.

What is the biggest tire size it can accommodate?

The frame will clear 29 x 2.6 or 27.5 x 2.8 tires. Tire clearance around the fork is defined by the fork manufacturer, but typically 29 x 2.6 or 27.5 x 2.8 will fit.

How much suspension does this bike have?

142mm of TetraLink rear suspension. 150mm front suspension fork.

What are the headset dimensions?

Upper: ZS44 | Lower: ZS56

What are the dimensions of the rear hub and rear axle?

Rear Hub: Boost 148x12mm | Rear Axle: M12 - 174xL12xP1.0

How are the cables routed?

The cables are routed internally through ports on the side of the headtube and inside the downtube providing clean, simple routing.

Can it run an internal dropper post?

Yes! The frame and cable routing are compatible with internally routed dropper posts.

What is the frame weight?

2570g (size medium)

How will it arrive?

All Ari bikes go through our Custom Setup process, making sure the bike is fit and tuned specifically to you. They are test-ridden before delivery. If your bike is shipped to you, it’s still tuned and ready to ride and requires just a few minutes of assembly.

What about service?

You can work directly with us, one of our recommended shops, or work through your local shop.

What is the warranty?

Each frame comes with a Lifetime Warranty. Ari-branded frames come with a transferable warranty as well.

What is the guarantee?
How does transferable warranty on Ari bikes work?

Ari-branded frames come with a transferable frame warranty available to the second owner. The second owner can receive a one-year frame warranty from the date they purchase the bike from the original owner. Warranty only transfers once. All Ari bikes must have the transfer documented from the original owner to the new owner here in order to qualify for a transferable warranty.
