The Do-It-All Enduro Bike

The future of enduro is here.

Low-angle wide shot of a white La Sal on a rocky forest trail with boulders around it

Full Carbon = Full Experience

The advanced carbon construction allows for fine-tuned stiffness and desired flex, all while maintaining an impressive average frame weight of 2900 grams.

Black-and-white shot of a rider leaning into a corner on a mountain bike at night, trees blurred

Size-Specific Geo

The La Sal Peak geometry is not built around one size and then shrunk or enlarged for each size like most bikes on the market. Instead, each actual angle is adjusted on each frame size to give the same effective angle.

Mullet Capable

La Sal Peak comes stock with 29er wheels. The GA link offers two positions of geometry adjustment, giving you the choice of a mullet (27.5" wheel on the rear) setup.

Geometry for the Geography

Geometry that allows you to cut corners hard and descend down terrain that would normally scare you, then climb as efficiently as possible to the top and do it all over again. 437mm chainstays keep it light on its wheels in tight turns.

Race Ready

Proof is in the pudding: Multiple National Champ winner and consistently on the biggest podiums.

Balanced Performance
With 170mm/170mm of travel, La Sal Peak is built to descend with confidence.
Everyday Enduro
From post-work loops to all-day adventures, La Sal Peak balances efficiency, agility, and enough suspension to do it all.

Suspension

Rip it like you stole it.

With a 63.5 degree head angle, long cockpit, and shorter chainstay that allows you to run either 29 or mullet, and 170mm of travel, the La Sal Peak soaks up everything in front of it. The playful planted feel inspires confidence.

Ride trails that once were only in your dreams.

Chassis

Built tough. Finished thoughtfully.

Custom-molded protection quiets chain slap and shields high-impact areas. UDH compatibility simplifies service, while the epoxy-infused finish is made to resist chips and scratches.

Press reviews

Serious performance. Straightforward value.

Impressive quality for its price tag and solid on-trail performance to go with it.

An extensive fit process before sending the bike so that it’s ready to rock.

A lot of value without resorting to common cost-cutting measures.

  2. 02 Install the handlebar

Center the bar, set roll, and tighten faceplate bolts evenly in a cross pattern.

  3. 03 Fit the front wheel

Seat the rotor between the pads, insert the thru-axle from the non-drive side and close to spec.

  4. 04 Set saddle height

With the dropper fully extended, set height so your knee is slightly bent at the bottom of the stroke.

  5. 05 Install pedals

Grease threads. The left pedal is reverse-threaded.

  6. 06 Set suspension and tires

Set sag for your weight using your fork and shock manuals, then check tire pressure against the sidewall range.

Common questions

Still deciding? Our team rides these bikes and can help you find the right setup.

Who is this bike for?

Those who choose to ride the La Sal Peak typically thrive on adrenaline and seek the thrill of downhill riding, while still valuing the ability to pedal uphill efficiently. These riders enjoy the technical aspects of mountain biking, including navigating challenging terrains with rocks, roots, and steep descents. They are likely adventurous and possess a higher skill level in handling a bike over difficult obstacles and at high speeds.

Do you offer financing?

Yes, at checkout there are several options available for financing.

How long will it take to arrive?

Estimated lead times are listed under each model's size in the bike builder. Times may vary a little based on current conditions, frame size, color, and availability.

How many water bottles fit inside the frame?

All sizes can fit one water bottle inside the front triangle frame and another beneath.

Can I use a coil shock?

Yes, the suspension design works well with a coil shock. Most coil shocks available on the market fit the La Sal Peak. M8x30 shock mounting hardware is used to help with clearance and also allow for the option of roller bearing mounting kits.

What length dropper post will fit inside the frame?

With our uninterrupted seat tube design, even the small frame has enough insertion depth to use a 200+mm dropper. This is inseam/saddle height dependent to fit the rider.

What is the bottom bracket frame spec?

73mm English thread. Our philosophy is simple: if the bike is intended to be ridden in the dirt, it gets a threaded bottom bracket. Threaded bottom brackets are easier to service.

Can I run a chain guide or bash guard on my La Sal?

The La Sal incorporates ISCG-05 mounts for chain guides or bash guards that can be added at checkout, or purchased later on your own. Just be sure your chain guide is ISCG-05 and Boost 148 chainline compatible.

What frame extras are included with the La Sal Peak?

Custom-molded chainstay, downtube, and shuttle pad protector are included with each bike and frameset.

What is the biggest tire size the La Sal Peak can accommodate?

29x2.6 rear. Front is suspension fork dependent (most will also fit 29x2.6)

Is the La Sal Peak compatible with a mullet setup?

Yes, the La Sal Peak likes to party. Mullet approved. If you decide to run a mullet setup on the La Sal we suggest running the bike with the GA link chip in the high position. We have also had good luck with changing the fork to 180mm travel, though 170mm still works.

What considerations have been made for maintenance with internal routing?

The La Sal uses tube-in-tube cable routing for easy assembly and maintenance and a quiet ride.

What about remote shock lockouts?

While the current specs don’t include remote rear shock lockouts, the frame has cable ports to be able to run a cable actuated remote rear shock lockout.

What are the head tube dimensions?

ZS44/ZS56. This is your standard 1 ⅛” to 1.5” tapered headtube with alloy cups pressed into the frame.

What is the recommended fork length?

We build the La Sal Peak with 170mm forks, but since we have tested the La Sal beyond DH requirements, you’re free to bump up to 180 or even throw on a dual crown fork (190mm or 203mm) and get extra gnarly. This does change the head tube angle and BB height slightly, roughly 0.3 degrees for each 10mm of axle to crown height change.

What are the dimensions of the rear hub and axle?

Hub: 148x12mm - Axle: 174x12x1.0mm

What seat tube diameter and seat tube clamp diameter does the La Sal Peak use?

The La Sal Peak fits 31.6mm seatposts and uses a 34.9mm clamp.

What bearings are used in La Sal’s rear suspension pivots?

The La Sal Peak uses high-quality sealed ball bearings. There are 4x 6900 bearings in the seatstay, 2x 6901 bearings in the rocker and 2x 6902 bearings in the main pivot. Ari has these available as spare parts. Regularly cleaning and maintaining your bike will keep these bearings running for a very long time.

Why does the small look different from other sizes?

We want riders of all sizes to experience the full benefit of the La Sal Peak. We reworked each frame size so there are some aesthetic changes per size, but the kinematics remain consistent. This ensures that—regardless of height and size—everyone enjoys the same performance and handling.

How will it arrive?

All Ari bikes go through our Custom Setup process, making sure the bike is fit and tuned specifically to you. They are test-ridden before delivery. If your bike is shipped to you, it’s still tuned and ready to ride and requires just a few minutes of assembly.

What about service?

You can work directly with us, one of our recommended shops, or work through your local shop.

What is the warranty?

Each frame comes with a Lifetime Warranty. Ari-branded frames come with a transferable warranty as well.

What is the guarantee?
How does transferable warranty on Ari bikes work?

Ari-branded frames come with a transferable frame warranty available to the second owner. The second owner can receive a one-year frame warranty from the date they purchase the bike from the original owner. Warranty only transfers once. All Ari bikes must have the transfer documented from the original owner to the new owner here in order to qualify for a transferable warranty.
