Another perk of this unique approach to a flex stay was that it naturally made the bike “want” to stay at sag, which made for calmer pedaling and a perfect segue into the climbing section.
The progression of geometry, suspension, and handling, making this a super attractive bike to cross-country racers.
One of my fravorite places to ride cross country bikes is on low speed, janky trails. The Signal Peak ate this stuff up. Which once again I contribute to how well the pivotless rear end performs. It tracks the ground like a trail bike but still accelerates on a dime.
This full-suspension cross-country/trail bike is light, as in “did I forget to put on the wheels?” light.
