La Sal Peak

The Do-It-All Enduro Bike
Feel confident on any trail, green to black diamond.

170mm

Front/Rear Suspension

Built with TetraLink™ Technology

Our award-winning TetraLink™ suspension technology delivers a grounded yet dynamic experience up and downhill. Each bike model is specifically designed around its primary category focus, and our TetraLink™ Technology allows us to expand each bike’s abilities both up and down. The result: La Sal Peak is perfectly balanced with 170mm suspension front and rear. It climbs like a bike with less suspension, and descends as if it had more.

Take the trails you only dreamed of last year.

63.5° Head Angle

29” or Mullet

437mm Chainstay

Rip it like you stole it.

With a 63.5 degree head angle, long cockpit, and shorter chainstay that allows you to run either 29 or mullet, and 170mm of travel, the La Sal Peak soaks up everything in front of it. The playful planted feel inspires confidence and makes you ride trails that once were only in your dreams.

Climb faster and descend safer with over 100% anti-squat.

The La Sal Peak's exceptional pedaling performance is attributed to its anti-squat values, which exceed 100% in the pedaling platform. As the La Sal progresses through its travel, the anti squat values continuously go down. As a result, adding more travel doesn't cause any additional weight or pedaling penalties.

Full Carbon = Full Experience

The advanced carbon construction allows Fezzari to shape the tubing, adjust stiffness, and fine-tune desired flex, all while maintaining an impressive average frame weight of 2900 grams.

Size Specific Geo

The La Sal Peak geometry is not built around one size and then shrunk or enlarged for each size like most bikes on the market. Instead, each actual angle is adjusted on each frame size to give the same effective angle.

Geometry for the Geography

New geometry allows you to cut corners hard and descend down terrain that would normally scare you, then climb as efficiently as possible to the top and do it all over again. 437mm chainstays keep it light on its wheels in tight turns.

Mullet Capable

La Sal Peak comes stock with 29er wheels. The GA link offers two positions of geometry adjustment, giving you the choice of a mullet setup.

Go ahead, take it for a spin.

Crafting a World-Class Enduro Bike

Almost two decades of frame refinement, design, testing, and customer feedback has gone into creating the La Sal V2 frame. The La Sal is perfectly balanced between functionality and aesthetics.

"The faster, steeper, and rougher, the better the bike felt, and I wouldn't hesitate to take it into rougher, rowdier terrain."
"The faster, steeper, and rougher, the better the bike felt, and I wouldn't hesitate to take it into rougher, rowdier terrain."
"Its pedaling performance was excellent, with just enough anti-squat support to keep it from feeling bouncy and like I needed the lockout lever, but enough sensitivity to keep traction on chunky desert climbs."
"With the amount of time and number of bikes I’ve ridden on these trails, I’m pretty confident saying that if you don’t want to wait for a long-term review and are looking for a long-legged enduro rig, this bike is probably worth a good, hard look."
"Unlike other manufacturers who wrap carbon sheets around a bladder, Ari says its carbon construction process uses proprietary tooling designs and a different type of internal mould to hold the carbon in place during manufacturing."
"Ari found a great recipe in the La Sal Peak’s geometry, giving it newer angles where they were needed, and holding off where it didn’t."
"Ari has some novel ideas about making its bikes stand out today, and the La Sal Peak puts these ideas to use in one of today’s rowdiest segments."
"A smart mix of spec, travel, geo and value... Oh, and it's got a 78-degree seat angle, which is awesome."
"As an all round, one-bike-quiver, type trail bike, the Ari La Sal Peak performed very well."

Great bike and great support

About two years now on my La Sal Peak and for the price it can't be beat. It climbs well for an enduro/long travel bike and is most at home bombing down chunky terrain. The geo and head tube angle make it feel stable downhill but still climbs and takes tight turns pretty well. This is my first 29r and it rolls over everything!

Big Bike Abilities - Small Bike Feel

I’ve been a Cross Country Mountain Bike ride for a few years, but I have always loved pointing my bike downwards. When I was looking into the La Sal Peak I was worried that I would lose too much climbing performance and suffer on XC trails. I am happy to say that I was wrong. This bike is excellent! I have fun climbing and with the aggressive tires I’ve been able to get up a few technical sections easier than on my XC bike. I’ve done a few big rides with lots of climbing and I’ve been surprised at how much energy I still have to turn around at the top and use all the suspension travel it has to offer. I’d recommend this bike to anyone who loves to go downhill and wants a bike that performs incredibly well going downhill or climbing to the top!

I am into my second season on my FEZZari La Sal Peak, and I love it. I agree with others that the new rebranding name sucks, and I feel just a little betrayed, but my bike's performance still puts me in interest mode when I might pop on a new bike, maybe even an ebike in a couple of years. I am 58, and the bike just eats up downhill terrain, the faster the better. I bike park 2-3 times a year and it always asks for more. It is right at home with my friend's Transition Patrol and Sentinels. I do not do many 20+ miles at this stage of my biking career, but if I did it would do just fine. Climbing is great and the descent is worth a bit of extra weight when I leave my friends with their Giant Trances in my dust. I will keep Ari on the front burner when I purchase again for price and performance; with the money I save I can ask a friend to airbrush the FEZZ on my frame.

AMAZING!

My Wiki Peak met an untimely demise under the wheels of a drunk driver in a pickup truck (fortunately I wasn't on the bike). I upgraded to the La Sal Peak and I've gotta tell ya.... Ari nailed it. I am constantly amazed at the capabilities of this machine, finding myself taking on challenges I didn't consider previously. Whether sick downhills or grinding up ascents, I am one with the bike, and it never disappoints. Nimble, firm when needed, and cornering is beyond impressive. I want to thank you folks for dialing in the perfect geo and materials for this rider!

The quiver killer

I must admit that I was skeptical. There's no way a 170mm bike can climb efficiently, be playful, and jump without feeling heavy. I read the reviews, watched a ton of videos, and decided that the consensus had to be valid. After purchasing and riding for the past few weeks, I can honestly say this bike can do it all. I ride XC trails, limestone-infused technical trails, long fire roads, loose and steep canyon trails, and everything in between. And somehow, the La Sal Peak makes these varied trail rides fun and efficient. I've never felt over-biked or under-biked, and that's the magic formula bicycle engineers have been trying to solve for years.

La Sal Mountain Range

38°26′19″N 109°13′45″W

With La Sal Peak, our goal was to build a bike that was capable of gnarly descents and bike park days, but light and nimble enough to pedal like a trail bike. Designed and named after the steep, rough and rowdy trails in the La Sal mountain range. The steep, long, high elevation climbs and the tough terrain demand a light and efficient pedaler but a very capable enduro bike.

Common Questions*

Do you offer financing?

Yes, at checkout there are several options available for financing.

Who is this bike for?

Those who choose to ride the La Sal Peak typically thrive on adrenaline and seek the thrill of downhill riding, while still valuing the ability to pedal uphill efficiently. These riders enjoy the technical aspects of mountain biking, including navigating challenging terrains with rocks, roots, and steep descents. They are likely adventurous and possess a higher skill level in handling a bike over difficult obstacles and at high speeds.

How long will it take to arrive?

Estimated lead times are listed under each model's size in the bike builder. Times may vary a little based on current conditions, frame size, color, and availability.

How many water bottles fit inside the frame?

All sizes can fit one water bottle inside the front triangle frame and another beneath.

What length dropper post will fit inside the frame?

With our uninterrupted seat tube design, even the small frame has enough insertion depth to use a 200+mm dropper. This is inseam/saddle height dependent to fit the rider.

Can I run a chain guide or bash guard on my La Sal?

The La Sal incorporates ISCG-05 mounts for chain guides or bash guards that can be added at checkout, or purchased later on your own. Just be sure your chain guide is ISCG-05 and Boost 148 chainline compatible.

What is the biggest tire size the La Sal Peak can accommodate?

29x2.6 rear. Front is suspension fork dependent (most will also fit 29x2.6)

What considerations have been made for maintenance with internal routing?

The La Sal uses tube-in-tube cable routing for easy assembly and maintenance and a quiet ride.

What are the head tube dimensions?

ZS44/ZS56. This is your standard 1 ⅛” to 1.5” tapered headtube with alloy cups pressed into the frame.

What are the dimensions of the rear hub and axle?

Hub: 148x12mm - Axle: 174x12x1.0mm

What bearings are used in La Sal’s rear suspension pivots?

The La Sal Peak uses high quality sealed ball bearings. There are 4x 6900 bearings in the seatstay, 2x6901 bearings in the rocker and 2x 6902 bearings in the main pivot. Fezzari has these available as spare parts. To increase the life of your bearings, regularly cleaning and maintaining your bike will have these bearings running for a very long time.

Can I use a coil shock?

Yes, the suspension design works well with a coil shock. Most coil shocks available on the market fit the La Sal Peak. M8x30 shock mounting hardware is used to help with clearance and also allow for the option of roller bearing mounting kits.

What is the bottom bracket frame spec?

73mm English thread. Our philosophy is simple, if the bike is intended to be ridden in the dirt, it gets a threaded bottom bracket. Threaded bottom brackets are easier to service.

What frame extras are included with the La Sal Peak?

Custom molded chainstay, downtube, and shuttle pad protector are included with each bike and frameset.

Is the La Sal Peak compatible with a mullet setup?

Yes, the La Sal Peak likes to party. Mullet approved. If you decide to run a mullet setup on the La Sal we suggest running the bike with the GA link chip in the high position. We have also had good luck with changing the fork to 180mm travel, though 170mm still works.

What about remote shock lockouts?

While the current specs don’t include remote rear shock lockouts, the frame has cable ports to be able to run a cable actuated remote rear shock lockout.

What is the recommended fork length?

We build the La Sal Peak with 170mm forks, but since we have tested the La Sal beyond DH requirements, you’re free to bump up to 180 or even throw on a dual crown fork (190mm or 203mm) and get extra gnarly. This does change the head tube angle and BB height slightly, roughly 0.3 degrees for each 10mm of axle to crown height change.

What seat tube diameter and seat tube clamp diameter does the La Sal Peak use?

The La Sal Peak fits 31.6mm seatposts and uses a 34.9mm clamp.

Why does the small look different from other sizes?

We want riders of all sizes to experience the full benefit of the La Sal Peak. We reworked each frame size so there are some aesthetic changes per size, but the kinematics remain consistent. This ensures that—regardless of height and size—everyone enjoys the same performance and handling.

What about service?

You can work directly with us, one of our recommended shops, or work through your local shop.

What is the guarantee?

It comes with a 30 Day Love it or Return it Guarantee.

How will it arrive?

All Ari bikes go through our 23-Point Custom Setup making sure the bike is fit and tuned specifically to you. They are test-ridden before delivery. If your bike is shipped to you, it’s still tuned and ready to ride and requires just a few minutes of assembly.

What is the warranty?

Each frame comes with a Lifetime Warranty. Ari branded frames come with a transferable warranty as well.

How does transferable warranty on Ari bikes work?

Ari branded frames come with a transferable frame warranty available to the second owner. The second owner can receive a one-year frame warranty from the date they purchase the bike from the original owner. Warranty only transfers once. All Ari bikes must have the transfer documented from the original owner to the new owner at www.aribikes.com/pages/register in order to qualify for a transferable warranty.
