Parker is one of our techs here at Ari Bikes, always building some of the most beautiful bikes to come out of Ari HQ. He pays close attention to every detail and constantly strives to create the best riding experience for the rider.
Recently, he decided to treat himself to a new bike—the Superior Peak.
I had the chance to interview him about his new ride.

Me: What inspired you to build a custom Superior Peak?
Parker: I've loved the idea of bike park riding since I got into mountain biking. I had a DH bike at one point but ended up outgrowing it.
Me: What’s your all-time favorite bike park?
Parker: My favorite bike park is Deer Valley. Since I got my first full suspension, Ive had a summer season pass every year.

Me: What’s on your playlist when you need to get stoked for a ride?
Parker: I typically listen to some kind of metal like Tool or System of a Down. Sometimes I'll listen to something electronic like Nero.
Me: Do you have any pre-ride rituals or habits that get you in the zone?
Parker: Before I ride, I usually wake up as early as possible and grab a Red Bull before heading to the bike park. I like to be there right when the lifts open.
Me: Favorite Redbull flavor?
Parker: Probably Yellow Edition.

Parker: I chose TRP simply because I hadn’t tried it before. I’ve had Shimano and SRAM in the past, and they’ve all been great, but I wanted to try something new. Plus, the derailleur is gold, which I thought was pretty cool.
